The following are some comics I think you might enjoy!
Achewood - Hella crass cartoon cats
THE ALIWAY - Comics by my dear ol’ friend Ali
Anders Loves Maria - Like Juno if Juno was Swedish, the story jumped around in time, and Michael Cera’s character had a big ol’ ding-a-ling and boned everyone in the world, and also no one says that shit is “wizard” for the first five minutes and then gives it up because that is a goddamn stupid thing to say
Ass Happens - My now essentially defunct website that I keep around for Auld Lang Syne, I got this website because I figured maybe people were a teeny bit reluctant to go to a website with a cuss in the title.
Bellen - Two young mofugs in lurrve and such
Bobwhite - A comic about three college gals; has really good character-driven humor
bone in sub - Tyler K’s blog
DAR - A great journal comic by a lesbian who happens to be married to a dude who she loves and doinks and stuff. Crazy times.
Digger - Well-drawn and entertaining fantasy comic about a wombat
Ellerbisms - A good journal comic. The art has that amateurish charm that I like in autobio comics while still being good, technically competent, interesting, etc. etc.
The Everyday - Disappontingly, it does not update every day, but I still like it. Journal comic.
Fart Party - Rude crude journal comic action from a San Fransisco via Brooklyn broad
FreakAngels - Warren Ellis is one of the best writers in comics, and he has a webcomic. Bitchin’. The art is sweet too. Post-apocalyptic psychics look after a dry-ish district in flooded London
Girls With Slingshots - The various romps and boozings of two 20-some girls and a talking cactus
Inkdick - Solid journal comic. The art style is good and the guy who does it is pretty good about including some negative emoations and inrospection and stuff without being too whiny
Kate Beaton - Canadian lady who works on an oil rig or something and does comics about history
Kukuburi - Amazingly, amazingly well-drawn fantasy comic. Doesn’t update often enough. The link goes to the first page.
Magellan - Fun super hero comic
Octopus Pie - The characters in this comic live in Brooklyn so you don’t have to
Perfect Stars - Comics about people who are prettier than you are
Rice Boy - A seriously epic and awesomely meandering adventure; I wish I’d had this to read as a kid alongside The Hobbit
Scary Go Round - Just damn good
ShortPacked! - I have been reading comics veteran David Willis’ stuff since the ancient days of 2001 or so, and he’s still got it
Templar - Alternate-universe town in Arizona. The writing has some of the strongest sense of voice in any webcomic, and the art is expressive and dynamic.
Wasted Talent - Another journal comic. Good art, cute, hat person-y in a way that is endearing instead of uncomfortable.
The Zombie Hunters - Good art, another strip that doesn’t update super often (once a week), but it tends to update very regularly. Zombies!
