Originally I was gonna have Jacks expression soften a little and his grip on the pillow loosen a little in the panel where he falls asleep, but I realized it was funnier to have him be just as tense when he falls asleep. And also easier.

New Guys- Sleep

And thus concludes the first little “chapter” of this new comic! Not that these are really organized into chapters or anything. Another comic tomorrow, and maybe Thursday, and then Friday is Christmas!

Hopefully this first storyline has introduced you to a few basic things about Jack and his mom- Jack is a little anger prone, protective, exasperated, but tolerant; his mom is nice and well-intentioned, but a little oblivious and self-centered (usually inadvertently). They live in a small house in the suburbs. I was hoping to get more into the friends’ personalities, but things went in a bit of a different direction than I anticipated. Although these comics involve some pretty rudimentary storytelling, they were a challenge for me as most of my comics storytelling so far has been just relating to y’all what has actually happened, and even then my storytelling hasn’t always gotten the point across! So hopefully you have enjoyed these. They’ve wound up a bit more risque than I intended, but ah well.

See you tomorrow! Happy holidayssssss
