I remember also last year or so there was that one guy who was the only known case of someone's immune system being able to kick AIDS. I wonder if studying him had to do with that vaccine, or if they've otherwise used him to get any breakthroughs. I haven't heard anything about him since the first news story. Recently I saw a news story about a vaccine that is 31% (which is actually pretty good for the early stage of something like that) effective toward stopping AIDS, maybe I should look up more about it but it was either preventative or curing.
