#401- Stand Up
Nerds get shit done, but they don’t get done, you know? It’s a problem.
Like I think lots of people, I often develop stand-up routines in my head, fail to write them down, and forget them, although I would probably never have the cojones to do stand-up anyway. Her’es a bit I actually wrote down, it was originally a lot longer but stand-up is better suited to rambling than comics.

I have done that before too, writng down possible stand-up material. Also! Recently I saw a news story about a vaccine that is 31% (which is actually pretty good for the early stage of something like that) effective toward stopping AIDS, maybe I should look up more about it but it was either preventative or curing. Either way awesome progress! and…long comment!

Ali- thanks! Yeah I would have liked to have done this comic longer, but there’s all this “time” nonsense and such.
Alex- Damn, that’s awesome! The nerds are on the motherfucker. I remember also last year or so there was that one guy who was the only known case of someone’s immune system being able to kick AIDS. I wonder if studying him had to do with that vaccine, or if they’ve otherwise used him to get any breakthroughs. I haven’t heard anything about him since the first news story. They’ve probably got him chained up in some laboratory… long response comment!

Sarah- Thanks! Yeah I’ll probably never do stand up on stage, so I might as well do it in a comic.
