It’s not an accurate statement in our case, of course, but it was nice of him to say. His likeness was a lot better in the pencils, though, the inks less so. I did the second panel with a brush pen, I think it looks good for the most part.

Stuff White People Like- I saw the book for this blog at a store the other day, and now I read it. It cracks me up times a million.

Kukuburi- The art in this makes me so mad because it is so good. Every panel of every page is damn perfect. Rar!

Girls With Slingshots- Expressive art, character-driven humor, totally great

Templar- Alternate-universe Arizona, again really superb art, great character design, fantastic writing and great use of dialect and voice

Bobwhite- College comic, pretty new so there’s not too much archive to go through, also nice sense of character. Captures college pretty well in many facets, unlike mine which is pretty much only the party aspects of college with like one comic about finals being crappy once a semester.
